Mozilla labs’ F1 is a Firefox extension that enables quick sharing of links via Twitter, Facebook and Gmail. It sits right in your browser’s toolbar and includes neat features like automatically inserting the shared URL into a new Gmail message and automatic link shortening for Twitter. The latest F1 update makes this add-on even more useful, with a keyboard shortcut to activate F1 — just press the F1 button, naturally — and the option to automatically bookmark the links you share.

F1 has also added some more ways to share: Yahoo! Mail and Google Apps email accounts are now supported. There’s still no Google Reader support, unfortunately, but it’s understandable that F1 sticks to a few services when Facebook and Twitter probably make up the bulk of the sharing via F1. There are other sharing add-ons for Firefox, of course, but F1 is extremely fast and great for people who think shareaholic is overkill. Get the latest version of F1 by checking your Firefox add-ons for updates, or install it from the F1 page at Mozilla Labs.

Internet browser Google chrome is ready for enterprise duty. Google is doing everything to make Chrome bigger. Recently Google Chrome introduced the feature with what you can donate to any charity. The thing is when you will simply download this web browser for a cause browser extension while surfing the internet. Chrome is campaigning this charity event through Sunday in Time.

Each of us who uses the internet usually has more than 3-5 tabs per browser when we are surfing the web.  As a blogger I usually use more than 10 tabs per browser since I love researching and surfing the net. I simultaneously open different tabs with different web sites because it saves my time on browsing especially when waiting for another site page to load. Since users open lots of tabs Google Chrome uses the tab opened as the basis for donations. Their system counts the tabs the user opens for browsing and the Google plans to donate money   depending on how many tabs are clicked on each day.

Anyone can participate on donating with Chrome. You don’t have to shell out money just to give donations. You just have to download the Chrome for a Cause browser extension, browse the web and you’ll be prompted to submit your tab. The number of tabs opened will determine a charitable donation made on behalf of Chrome community, up to one million dollars. You can now donate and help charity institutions by browsing the internet! This is very simple and a very humanitarian approach.
